Food Unmasked: When Eating Is Harder Than It Should Be

January 28, 2026 7:30 PM

In this honest and compassionate Unmasked session, we’re joined by two experienced nutrition professionals to explore why eating can feel complicated when you have a busy mind.

Together, they unpack how attention, dopamine, sensory sensitivity, time blindness and emotional regulation can all shape our relationship with food. From forgetting to eat, to craving quick energy, to cycles of restriction, guilt or “all-or-nothing” thinking - this session looks beyond willpower and diets to understand what’s really going on.

Expect a thoughtful conversation that gently names disordered eating patterns, challenges diet culture, and offers practical, low-pressure ways to support yourself when energy, motivation or structure are in short supply.

This session isn’t about perfection or fixing yourself. It’s about understanding your brain, reducing shame, and finding eating approaches that feel more supportive and sustainable.
